  1. The Origin

    Devigo began with a standard, not a business plan. Before being founded, Jacob built digital infrastructure for asset managers and hedge funds, work where scrutiny isn't optional and a website has to perform under real pressure. That same level of care is what Devigo was built on. The belief that a business spending a fraction of a hedge fund's budget still deserves a site held to the same standard.

  2. Growing Through Community

    Alongside the client work, Jacob got involved with Kent Tech, a free, informal meet-up for anyone working in or around technology in the county. What started as attending turned into running it, driven by the belief that a tech community deserves a space to connect without a price tag attached. In under a year, the meet-up grew by over 400%, and so did Devigo alongside it.

    Nearly every significant client relationship the studio has today started as a conversation in that room. Community didn't just support Devigo's growth. It was Devigo's growth.

  3. Building It

    Devigo started with a proprietary CMS, built to give smaller businesses access to that same quality without the bloat and security risk that comes with off-the-shelf platforms. The early clients came quickly, and each one shaped what Devigo would become next.

  4. Where We Are Now

    Today, Devigo works with property firms, construction companies, educators, event organisers and investment-seeking startups on projects that genuinely matter to us, and the studio is only getting started. The standard Jacob brought in from day one is still what every project is measured against, and it's the same standard that will carry Devigo as it grows. Quality attracts quality in the clients we work with and the community we built alongside them.
